Who Is Instagram?

Instagram is a free photo and video sharing social media app available on Apple iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. The app allows users to upload photos or videos to their service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends.

WHO IS Twitter?

Twitter is an American microblogging and social networking platform from which users post and interact with tweets.

WHAT THEY DO?

Twitter allows its users to post or share information with the world in different formats such as text, video, images, and GIFs. Twitter offers various types of updates on what is happening around the globe, including breaking news, entertainment, sports and politics. Users can get the full story with all the live commentary.

HOW THEY WORK?

To use Twitter, one needs to register first. Registered users can post, like, and retweet tweets, but unregistered users can only read them. Twitter is accessible through its website interface, through Short Message Service (SMS) or its mobile-device app. Initially, tweets were restricted to 140 characters but was doubled to 280 in November 2017, and now voice message is available.

BEST PRACTICE:

Those with iOS can enjoy Twitter’s new feature, voice tweet, that will allow them to share more information with the world despite the 280-character limit. This feature can be used to share more information about an event, product, or personal experience with followers.

Twitter helps brands grow by making it easy for them to promote branded content in seconds. It is also an official site meaning it grants brands quick customer service and support.
