WHO IS Instagram?

Instagram is a free photo and video sharing social media app available on Apple iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. The app allows users to upload photos or videos to their service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends.

WHAT THEY DO?

Instagram is a social media app that offers users a platform to share photos and videos from their daily lives, add captions, edit filters, tweak settings, explore and creep, and engage with others through likes, comments and reposts.

HOW THEY WORK?

Just like Facebook or Twitter, Instagram users create an account first and get a profile and a news feed. Keep in mind that after your profile is created and set to public, anyone can find and view your profile, along with all your posts. You can, however, set your profile private, and everyone will need approval first before they can see your posts. Upon uploading a video or photo, it is displayed on your profile. Your followers will see your posts in their feed, and you will see their posts if you follow them. To interact on Instagram, you double-tap any post to “like” it or add a comment. You can as well share other people’s posts by clicking on the arrow button.
