Aurora, IL - Ravi Singh, candidate for Illinois State Representative in the 42nd District, welcomes youth leaders to his campaign headquarters on Monday, January 19, from 4:00 to 5:30p.m. to honor the memory of slain civil rights leader, Martin Luther King, Jr.
Elected officials, local leaders, as well as various Student Council Presidents are scheduled to be speaking from 4:00-5:30p.m. "The purpose of this conference is to show that through unity we can overcome diversity…the Next Generation for Singh Committee has worked hard to unite the various schools in the area for this Conference, and I am proud of their efforts," stated Ravi Singh.
Singh is striving to unite students from Aurora Central, Aurora Christian, Batavia, Geneva, Marmion, Rosary, East and West Aurora High Schools for his Youth Conference. Singh invites all student leaders to attend. This event has been spearheaded by Dylan Chambers, West Aurora High School student, who is also the director of the Next Generation for Singh committee, coordinated along with various other high school students.
Ravi Singh's campaign headquarters are located at 10 S. River Street in Aurora. This event is being sponsored by the West Aurora's Domino's Pizza.
