The paper is a model of the 2016 U.S presidential campaign and it analyses the twitter activities of the 2016 presidential election candidates. The abstract of the paper provides a very clear message of what the paper is about; studying the interactions between the politicians and the twitter followers through their favourite networks and retweets. This gives the readers an idea of what to expect and also captures their attention keeping them interested in knowing the study findings and report. The background of the 2016 U.S presidential election is discussed in the introduction. The paper provides specific information on the data collection process and the methods applied in data collection and how the data is interpreted. “We started extracting data from September 26th 2015 and we will still keep gathering and monitoring the twitter data until the Election Day.” There is intense use of tables with figures and percentages to showcase the collected data which makes the data well organized and easy to interpret.
